So Close; yet so far away….

Clarsville

Ohh boy, I miss livin in TN.

Derek comes home in less than 20 days. I cannot believe it! It’s so close, but it’s just not coming fast enough! The days are going by super slow. But- Thank You, God for filling my time with things to do and awesome people to be with. When I look back, the past 6 months have actually flown by. Of course, I’ve been keeping super busy. I made a big move from TN to OK and then another move into a new house in Tulsa. Then, I’ve had about 4 jobs since I’ve been back and I’m just enjoying destiny church and all my friends and family that are here. Some days, I miss TN terribly. I really feel like that city needs something. There are so many people there just looking for love. And I know that God’s love is exactly what needs to be shared. When I worked as a server at a local restaurant there….I met hundreds of people on a daily basis that I knew needed just a smile to make their day. My co-workers, and a handful of army wives I knew were reaching out for a friend. And I pray that when i go back, I can make a difference in the lives of others. Looking back, I can see how much He is working within church, I can see great things happening and it’s about to take over the city. I can’t wait to go be a part of it. I want to be His hands and show them His heart.

an update, awesome! keep up the blogging sam. i know that when you guys go back to tenn. God will use you and the gifts that He has given you. if anything else just to show people that you encounter there what true love means…what God’s kind of love means. a smile, a nod, a kind word…a prayer is all it takes for people to see God in you. i am confident that you can do all of the above.
